Most of the area Pac-12 and Big West teams go into Saturday’s regular-season finales with minimal mystery. Five of the eight seeds for next week’s Big West Tournament were locked into place after Thursday’s results, and USC and UCLA both know they’ll be playing on the first day of the four-day Pac-12 Tournament next week.

USC: Seemingly careening away from the NCAA Tournament with five losses in six games, the Trojans (20-10, 9-8 Pac-12) gained some much-needed momentum by knocking off fellow bubble team Oregon State on Wednesday, improving to 16-1 at the Galen Center.
