Dante Flores had a bases-loaded triple in a four-run seventh inning and the USC baseball team rolled to a 7-4 Pac-12 victory over Arizona State on Saturday afternoon at Dedeaux Field.
The Trojans’ big inning broke a 3-3 tie. USC loaded the bases with a single and two walks before Flores’ triple. The Trojans added another run on David Oppenheim’s RBI single to make it 7-3.
The win boosted the No. 15 Trojans (36-19, 17-12) into a tie for fourth place in the Pac-12 with Cal. The No. 16 Sun Devils (34-20, 18-11) are third in the Pac-12.
