With Signing Day bearing down fast, USC football got back on track filling the 2019 recruiting class after some recent setbacks, picking up the commitment of three-star cornerback Jaylen Watson.
Watson, who is originally from Georgia, played junior college football at Ventura College and ranks 245th in the JUCO pool, per 247Sports. He is the 33rd-best cornerback after posting 43 tackles and four interceptions in 2018.
“Remember watching guys get offered, ranked, and praised. I never hated, I went and worked for it and waited my turn. Now that I’m amongst the elite I’ll never forget where I came from or where I started at…Be patient keep god first,” Watson tweeted on Sunday afternoon.
