The first national letter of intent for USC on Early Signing Day has been signed.
Three-star offensive tackle Casey Collier out of Mont Belvieu, Texas made it official in the early morning hours, just a couple of weeks after making his commitment to USC. He had previously been committed to Minnesota before an October decommitment, picking up an offer from the Trojans soon after.

Collier ranks No. 1,207 nationally, but No. 98 among offensive tackles in the 247Sports composite.
The 247Sports independent rankings are slightly more generous to Collier.
