One of Steve Sarkisian’s trademarks is his energy, but the USC coach looked drained when he addressed the media Tuesday morning for the first time since being inebriated at the “Salute to Troy” football dinner.
Sarkisian talked slowly and in measured tones, underscoring the importance of each word with an array of TV cameras facing him at Howard Jones Field.
And then he dropped a mini-bombshell.
“The moral of the story is if you mix meds with alcohol, you say things or do things you regret,” Sarkisian said.
Sarkisian did not reveal what medication he took.
