LOS ANGELES – When the official Rose Bowl festivities kicked off Tuesday at Disney California Adventure, Penn State linebacker Koa Farmer, a Notre Dame High graduate, said just getting to play in the historic game was a “dream come true.”
With the suspension of starting outside linebacker Manny Bowen, Farmer not only is slated to play, but he’ll start Monday’s game in front of dozens of family members and friends in the storied stadium.
“I can’t really tell you how blessed I am,” the redshirt sophomore said. “I thank the God upstairs. It’s a blessing.
