The next quarterback of the future for USC football is already waiting in the wings.
On Wednesday, Mater Dei’s Bryce Young committed to the Trojans for the class of 2020, giving Clay Helton and company another elite quarterback in the pipeline.
A five-star dual-threat star, Young is the top-rated player at the position and the No. 24 prospect in the class. He ranks sixth in the state of California.
Though he stands just 5-foot-11, 176 pounds, he has already proven himself as a gifted playmaker in the backfield. He threw for 3,431 yards and 41 touchdowns with just three interceptions as a sophomore starter at Cathedral.
