The USC Trojans had six players strut their stuff at the school’s pro day. Alijah Vera-Tucker, Talanoa Hufanga, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jay Tufele, Marion Tuipulotu and Tyler Vaughns showcased their skills in front of NFL teams.
One player from the group that stood out was Vera-Tucker. The 6’4, 308-pound offensive lineman ran a 5.10 40-yard dash, had a 32-inch vertical and finished with 36 reps of 225-pound bench press, solidifying his status as a potential first-round pick in next month’s 2021 NFL Draft.
Vera-Tucker won the 2020 Morris Trophy as the best lineman (offensive or defensive) in the Pac-12 and was also named to the All-Pac-12 team.
