USC football’s sophomore phenom and three-way star Adoree’ Jackson has left the Trojans’ season opener vs. Arkansas State with a hip injury.
Jackson suffered the injury after fielding a punt in the first quarter and coming up lame. According to ESPN Radio’s Ian Fitzsimmons, it’s a hip flexor for Jackson, as reported by head coach Steve Sarkisian.

In a quarter of play, Jackson had a pair of punt returns for 40 yards, and a kick return for 23 yards.
