Not only do the Trojans have a long history of churning out NFL players and All-Americans, the program has widely been known for hiring from within and fostering the strength of the Trojan Family.
That’s been evident this offseason, with the appointment of long-time assistant Clay Helton as head coach, followed by the return of Lane Kiffin assistants Clancy Pendergast, Tommie Robinson and John Baxter.
Sometime soon, however, Helton is expected to make his first hire of an actual USC grad with the imminent announcement that Kenechi Udeze will be taking over as the full-time defensive line coach.
