“Dynamite” Don Williams, Orv Mohler, Gus Shaver, Irvin “Cotton” Warburton and Grenville “Grenny” Landsdel were All-American quarterbacks and national championship winners at USC in the late 1920s and 1930s. Warburton is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
In the 1960s, Pete Beathard earned two all-conference nods. Steve Sogge got one as well.
