The Under Armour All-America Game is tomorrow and while there will be a lot of talent on the field, most of that talent is not considering USC. That being said there are a few, very valuable, uncommitted recruits that have the Trojans high on their list of schools. Here are three players to watch that have USC on their radar.
Nelson Agholor
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 180 lbs
Forty: 4.59
Agholor is one of the most versatile players in this class. While he will be playing wide receiver in the Under Armour Game he is listed by some recruiting services as an even better safety. His measurables and skill set make him the Marqise Lee of this recruiting class and who wouldn’t want another player like him in the stable. Agholor is expected to take his final recruiting trip at USC late this January, which can only be a good sign for Trojan fans.
Andrus Peat
Height: 6’7”
Weight: 305 lbs
Forty: 5.2
Of all the players in this game, Peat is probably the most important for USC to sign. He is a great athlete with a solid frame and a nasty streak to boot. With Matt Kalil gone for the NFL the Trojans need a replacement to protect Matt Barkley’s blind side. Peat is good enough to compete for that job, he just needs to add a little more strength. He has already visited the USC campus before, but he is coming back to take a final look later this month. Stanford and Nebraska figure to be the biggest competition for his services.
Davonte Neal
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 175 lbs
Forty: 4.47
When Neal takes the field tomorrow he will be the first player in Under Armour Game history to play both offense and defense. That certainly speaks to his athleticism and versatility, but should he decide to come to USC he figures to play cornerback. Neal has the skill set to come in and contribute right away in the secondary, an area where the Trojans continue to have difficulties. He hasn’t scheduled a visit to campus yet, but it would not be surprising to see him touring Heritage Hall soon.
