This installment of Team USA for the 2019 FIBA World Cup embodies that sentiment considering the criticism coming in its direction.
“I’ve said that we’re going to be fine and by that what I really meant is that we’re blessed with a lot of depth in USA Basketball,” USA Managing Director Jerry Colangelo said. “All of the players here, want to be here — there’s no question about it and that’s a big part of the battle in itself.”
While many are choosing to focus on the faces that are not in minicamp for the United States, Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell explained the advantage of playing with that sense freedom on the floor.
