Women’s tennis efficiently defeated Youngstown State and Southern Utah Feb. 11 at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
The YSU match ended swiftly with a final score of 4-0, and following the same pattern, the ladies defeated SUU with a shutout victory of 7-0.
Cristina Moroi was sure they were going to beat them and this attitude showed on court as women’s tennis executed a double header.
It was evident women’s tennis came to play, especially during their YSU match. Once doubles sufficiently swept their opponents, singles entered the court with the same spirit.
Winning all six matches without much opposition, women’s tennis entered SUU’s match with promise.
