Women’s soccer playing strong down the stretch of the season in 3-0 shutout over Colorado state

After some mid-season hiccups, it looks as though the Rebels are back to their early-season form, in which they began 2018 with a 6-1-1 record.

Freshmen goalkeeper Emberly Sevilla secured yet another shutout in a 3-0 victory for UNLV over Colorado State University, giving the Las Vegas native back-to-back spotless performances against both San Diego State University and CSU.

Sevilla’s strong play throughout the year has led to her notching 6 shutouts total this season, to go along with a giving up an average of less than a goal per-game at 0.97.

Heading into Friday, the Rebels had not won a road game since Sept.
