FRESNO, Calif. -- Bryson Williams tossed in 20 points on 10-of-14 shooting and Terrell Carter II added 18 points, six rebounds and a pair of blocked shots in the final seconds to help Fresno State hold off UNLV 69-63 on Tuesday night.
Fresno State (15-6, 5-3 Mountain West Conference) had a 65-57 lead with 1:38 left in the game, but UNLV's Jordan Johnson had back-to-back 3-point plays in a 26-second span to cut the Runnin' Rebels' deficit to 65-63 with 60 seconds left. Carter delivered for the Bulldogs. The senior center swatted away a layup by Johnson with nine seconds left and blocked a Brandon McCoy layup with four seconds to go.
