UNLV women’s soccer won their second straight shutout 3-0 against the Colorado College Prowlers on Friday night.
The Rebels returned home after almost two weeks of road games to host the Prowlers in their third conference game of the season. They shutout San Diego State 1-0 Sept. 24, making this win their second shutout in a row and making them 10-2 overall and 2-1 for conference play.
Senior midfielder Sophie Cortes scored the first goal of the night in the first half. Cortes leads the conference with eight goals for the season.
Redshirt sophomore forward Michaela Morris and sophomore midfielder Katie Ballou scored the final two goals of the night within minutes of each other, securing a comfortable lead over the Prowlers.
