After dropping a vital game to the second-place Boise State Broncos in overtime fashion, the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels (16-7,5-5) men’s basketball team will head up north to take on the first-place University of Nevada, Reno Wolfpack (20-4, 9-1) Wednesday, Feb. 7.
Dating back to 1998, UNLV has won 15 of the last 25 meetings between the two clubs. This is highlighted by the Rebels winning eight consecutive contests between 2006 and 2013. However, the Wolfpack have taken three of the last four games.
The Rebels will ride the backs of their forward tandem freshman Brandon McCoy and Shakur Juiston into battle.
