UNLV traveled to California to play in Long Beach State’s Gold Rush Tournament. The Rebels fought hard to earn a top ten finish in their first tournament outside of southern Nevada for the spring season.
The 54-hole two-day event featured 14 teams from across the United States and 82 individuals competing. UNLV’s team lineup for the tournament included Elizabeth Prior, Polly Mack, Cathy Liu, Shannon Oh, and Alyssa Getty. Freshman Veronica Joels played as an individual only.
UNLV sat in a tie for seventh place with Gonzaga, following the first day. The Rebels shot a 24-over par 600 as a team after two rounds of play.
