A new UNLV football complex could bring better recruits. It could build a better football team, and it could turn around the university’s disappointing football program.
But all those coulds carry a hefty dollar amount — $28.5 million to be exact — and UNLV doesn’t have the cash on hand to pay for their new complex upfront. So, they’ll be turning to loans to cover the initial construction costs and pay those back with donations.
A Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents committee approved the financing plan for UNLV’s Football complex — which also authorizes the university to borrow up to $15.
