UNLV athletics break ground on new football complex

UNLV football head coach Tony Sanchez joked that the shovel used for breaking ground on the Feritta Football Complex would be used for that or his gravesite.

For Sanchez, it was not the latter.

Bill “Wildcat” Morris Rebel Park was the hosting site for the new complex groundbreaking Tuesday. The crowd was restless after the event began almost 20 minutes after the scheduled start time. UNLV President Len Jessup and UNLV athletic director Desiree Reed-Francois were in attendance.
