Right now, the San Francisco 49ers are eating. I was skeptical going into the season as I thought the secondary would be worrisome and the offense would be meh.
Then, the Niners decided to run the ball down everyone’s throats (second-best in the NFL behind Baltimore at 180 YPG) and play hard-nosed defense led by a ferocious defensive line led by Nick Bosa and DeForest Buckner.
Bosa is on track to shatter Aldon Smith’s rookie record of total pressures. They have back-to-back dominating wins over the Browns and Rams, and have a favorable schedule moving forward starting with the Redskins.
