The Student Recreation and Wellness Center launched its new Rebel X Group Fitness schedule. A demo version was unveiled introducing 12 new contemporary exercise classes.
Group Fitness, a key department in the SRWC, is growing by leaps and bounds in recent years, now offering 50 classes for the first week and 80 classes until the end of the fall semester. This doubles the amount from two years ago, which included weekend workouts as well.
Program Coordinator for Group Fitness and certified instructor, Sarah Repman, has been influential in the process. She incorporated the idea of a trial run for the start of the semester that introduces the exercise classes much sooner.
