The Las Vegas Stadium Authority met on Thursday, Feb. 15 to iron out details regarding the logistics behind the upcoming construction of the National Football League’s most expensive stadium. Most notably, the Stadium Authority officially ratified the changes to the UNLV Joint-Use Agreement during the previous meeting on Jan. 11.
This meeting was a lighter version of the heated exchange that occurred between Authority members and representatives from UNLV during the previous meeting. There was borderline outrage spewing from more than one Authority member about the potential financial damage UNLV’s use of the stadium will bring to the football program.
