The Skatin’ Rebels entered their final home stand looking to build momentum for the rest of the season. Two losses to begin the weekend did not help, but on senior night, they would not squander their chance, as they sent off their seniors and fans with plenty to cheer about.
UNLV, currently ranked 11th in the nation, welcomed a couple of ranked foes into City National Arena. A standalone event Thursday against 9th-ranked Minot State (North Dakota), and a Friday-Saturday set with 17th-ranked University of Jamestown. With two ranked opponents at home, the Skatin’ Rebels had a prime opportunity to move up in their position.
