For the second consecutive game, UNLV suffered a four-point overtime loss. This time at the hands of the Cal Bears Tuesday, Nov. 12 as part of the team’s two-game road trip in California.
“Again, for our team to be successful there’s going to be a central theme — we need to defend, rebound and take care of the basketball,” head coach TJ Otzelberger said. “In the first half we did a great job of taking care of the ball […] Second half I thought our defense kicked in and then we had 12-second half turnovers.”
The Rebels will now sport a 1-2 overall record when entering UCLA Friday, Nov.
