UNLV football is in a place it hasn’t been in a long time, since 2009 to be exact.
The UNLV Rebels are 2-1 after the first three weeks of the season for the first time in nine years, following a 46-17 win over the Prairie View A&M Panthers Saturday night.
UNLV head coach Tony Sanchez said, “It’s good to see the boys sitting there at 2-1. They’ve worked really hard so I’m really happy for them […] Winning two games back-to-back at home is a big deal. We haven’t done that in a long time.”
With the game simply taking place, UNLV ended its longest drought between games (44 years).
