Rebels crush Idaho State in first win of season

On September 26, UNLV football set a record at Sam Boyd Stadium as they demolished Idaho State 80-8. This was head coach Tony Sanchez’s first win of his college career. The Rebel’s 80 points were the most scored by an FBS team since October 2014.

Quarterback Blake Decker threw the ball to Kurt Palandech, who scored the first touchdown for the Rebels against Idaho State. Then Idaho went for the field goal but Dominic Baldwin blocked the ball, and Tim Hough retrieved it to return it 54 yards. Decker faked giving the ball away and ran into the end zone.
