Rebel volleyball faced a tough weekend on the road with two losses to start off conference play. The Rebels lost a close five-set match to Wyoming on Thursday and were swept by Colorado State on Saturday.
On Thursday, UNLV started the match with a 13-25 loss to the Cowgirls but were able to rally and win the next two sets 25-20 and 25-18. The momentum had another shift in the UniWyo Sports Complex as the Rebels fell to the home team 24-26 and 13-15.
“I’m really proud of our kids,” head coach Cindy Fredrick said in response to Thursday’s game.
