UNLV volleyball finished the week off with a loss to the Fresno State Bulldogs on Thursday and a win against the San Diego State Aztecs on Friday.The Rebels took the Bulldogs to a fifth set on Thursday night but were unable to pull ahead. Fresno had two more errors, but they outhit UNLV with three more kills in four fewer attempts. Middle blockers Ashley Owens and Elsa Descamps had a standout night despite the Rebels coming behind in hitting numbers.
Owens and Descamps hit a combined average of .421 with 26 kills and three errors in 54 total attempts.
