After a record-breaking loss against the Howard University Bison, the Rebels broke more records — this time, in a positive way — with their win against the Idaho Vandals on Saturday evening.
Their 44-16 win marked the first road game win against a non-conference opponent in nine years. The last time UNLV accomplished this feat was in 2008 against Arizona State.
Runningback Lexington Thomas started over Charles Williams due to an injury. Thomas set records of his own by rushing a career-high 190 yards and three touchdowns on just 17 carries.
Freshman quarterback Armani Rogers and senior receiver Devonte Boyd also made UNLV history.
