When told that UNLV quarterback Dalton Sneed was off limits to the media this week because the redshirt freshman already has enough pressure on him preparing for his first collegiate start, Kris Heavner didn’t mince words.
“He doesn’t feel pressure. Dalton’s a rock,” said Heavner, who coached Sneed in his final two seasons at Horizon High School in Scottsdale, Arizona, and was a two-year starting quarterback for the University of Arizona.
“He’s one of the guys that when the pressure builds, he feeds off the pressure, he doesn’t succumb to it,” Heavner said. “The bigger the game, the bigger the moment, the better he plays.
