PORTLAND, Ore. — Tyrell Green launched the 3-pointer, and it found the bottom of the net with 2 seconds left to bring UNLV to within four points of Oregon at halftime.
An upset in the making?
Not quite. Whatever good feelings UNLV took into the locker room Saturday night at Moda Center quickly evaporated when the second half began, and the No. 22 Ducks ran away with a 83-63 victory.
Oregon (10-2) won its eighth consecutive basketball game, and the Ducks now have held 11 straight opponents to less than 70 points. UNLV (6-5) has lost three of its past four.
