Rob Robbins joined an adult hockey league in 2002 without knowing how to skate. He rented out an ice rink on Desert Inn and Jones every night for four to five months to teach himself how to skate gracefully without holding onto the boards and others around him.
In doing so, Robbins fell in love with the sport and has been a loyal fan ever since.
Devoted hockey fans like Robbins, the first season ticket holder for the Knights, contributed to the team’s successful expansion.
“I was the very first season ticket holder for the Golden Knights,” Robbins said.
