To say the Hornets were and largely still are an afterthought is an understatement. After losing Kemba Walker in free agency and replacing him with Terry Rozier, not only was the team predicted to be one of the worst in the NBA, but also one of the blandest.
Those predictions have proven to be incorrect thus far. They’re 6-7 and have both a middle-of-the-pack offense and defense, but that’s sort of impressive when considering that their plan coming into the season was to play as many young guys as possible. Devonte’ Graham, Terry Rozier, P.J Washington, Malik Monk, and Miles Bridges make up the core of this team and all are 25 or younger.
