Portland def. Utah 93-78
The Trail Blazers were on fire during their first game of the Summer League, with 6’9” forward Caleb Swanigan and 6’4” guard Wade Baldwin IV dumping in shots right and left.
The Jazz certainly put up a fight of their own. Portland’s 11-point lead in the first quarter was crushed to only two by the second, a tight gap that Utah held until the second half with the help of forward Stanton Kidd and forward Georges Niang.
