Down to two seniors on the team, UNLV men’s basketball head coach Marvin Menzies got a big turnout by senior guard Kris Clyburn who set a new career-high in the Rebels’ most recent win over the New Mexico Lobos.
UNLV travelled to “The Pit” and stole a win on the road Tuesday, Jan. 8 to improve to 3-0 in the Mountain West for the first time in program history. New Mexico had just hosted and beat the previously undefeated Nevada – Reno Wolf Pack.
Clyburn set a new career-high with 25 points just one game after scoring nine points on one-of-six shooting from the floor.
