New UNLV basketball coach Marvin Menzies completed his staff Thursday, hiring Rob Jeter and Eric Brown as assistants, athletic department sources said.
The sources did not want to be named because an announcement has not been made. One is expected later in the morning or afternoon.
Jeter coached Wisconsin-Milwaukee the past 11 years, and went 20-13 this past season. He and athletic director Amanda Braun had a rocky relationship, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, leading to Jeter’s firing after the season.
Jeter went 185-170 in his career at Milwaukee, one victory short of the school record.
