The UNLV men’s soccer team scored a third straight win at their final road game of the regular season thanks to the combined efforts of Jesus Partida’s goal and a shutout. Their 1-0 victory over Houston Baptist moved the Rebels into a fourth-place tie in the conference at 4-3-1 (9-7-1 overall).

After 11 shots taken, UNLV finally found the net with Partida’s 18-yard goal in the final minute of the first half, assisted by Ivan Lopez and John Lynam.

Though HBU took 10 shots, goalkeeper Nate Bohn kept them from making the scoreboard, having saved six balls.
