In a recent string of big moves in the sports world for the city of Las Vegas, the WNBA may be the latest addition.
The WNBA’s San Antonio Stars have reportedly reached a deal to relocate to Sin City, according to ESPN’s Michael C. Wright This is not the first time the franchise has changed locations. Its first stop began in Utah in 1997.
Lady Rebels freshman guard Kavionnia Brown expressed her excitement when she heard about the potential relocation.
“My initial reaction when I heard Las Vegas was getting a WNBA team was the most surprising, uplifting feeling I’ve had in awhile,” Brown said.
