The United Soccer League’s latest addition, the Las Vegas Lights FC, are ready for their first year of competition in its new environment.
The team came into existence Aug. 11, 2017 and will play their home games at Cashman Field. Their new home arena will seat 9,334 people. Cashman Field is also the home venue for the Las Vegas 51s, the minor league baseball team.
Head coach José Luis Sånchez Solå will lead his team into battle for their 34-game regular season, starting with a Feb. 10 opener against Major League Soccer’s Montreal Impact.
