The city of Las Vegas may have had to wait for professional sports but now that it has come to fruition, the fever pitch has started. Nearly two months after the Vegas Golden Knights made the Stanley Cup Finals in the team’s first season, the Las Vegas Aces can smell the WNBA playoffs in the team’s first season since relocation.
At the WNBA all-star break the Aces hold a 12-13 record and are six and half games out of first place. Formerly the San Antonio Stars, Las Vegas is currently in ninth place and are a game and half out of the eighth and final playoff spot.
