Driving near The Strip on a Friday night, one may assume it is composed just typically of tourists and out-of-towners. That may have been true in past years, but since Oct. 10, 2017, it has been locals there to fill the seats of the T-Mobile Arena.
Until this season, expansion teams were a joke. You could not take the “leftovers” from other teams and build a contender with it. Previous expansion teams found it hard to fill seats.
This was until the National Hockey League introduced the Las Vegas Golden Knights to the world. The move gave the City of Las Vegas its first major professional sports team.
