Ex-Rebel McCaw suffers scary fall, leaves on stretcher

Two-year NBA player and former UNLV Runnin’ Rebel Patrick McCaw fell and landed on his tailbone in the Golden State Warriors’ 112-106 victory over the Sacramento Kings March 31.

McCaw drove baseline and elevated for a lay up but his foot clipped Kings forward Vince Carter’s leg. A slight scissor kick followed and he landed on his tailbone, immediately grabbing his back in pain rolling on the hardwood floor.

“I just hope he’s OK,” Carter said on an NBA.com article. “I play this game because I love it and enjoy it, not to see young guys get hurt.
