UNLV senior forward Christian Jones, who has missed the past three basketball games with an ankle injury, practiced Wednesday and has been cleared to play against No. 3 Kansas.
The teams meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Thomas & Mack Center.
Rebels coach Marvin Menzies said he didn’t know how many minutes Jones would receive. Jones averages 10.5 points and 6.5 rebounds.
Junior forward Dwayne Morgan remains out with a shoulder injury.
Also, UNLV’s game at New Mexico on Jan. 10 will be at 6 p.m. PST and streamed on ESPN3.
