Hearing UNLV women’s golf coach Amy Bush-Herzer ask you, ‘How are your classes coming?’ or ‘Have you eaten today?’ is nothing new if you’re one of her players.
You may know the feeling even if you’re not.
That is something that Bush-Herzer picked up during her time under former UNLV women’s golf coach Missy Ringler.
“She established a family environment and the way that she cared for and handled the student-athletes was the biggest takeaway for me,” she said.
From playing under her to being mentioned in the same breath as her, Bush-Herzer is now the only other coach other than Ringler to win multiple Mountain West Coach of the Year Awards.
