UNLV women’s soccer redeemed themselves from last week’s loss with a last-minute score against Utah State. Junior midfielder Katie Ballou put an end to a scoreless game with just 25 seconds remaining, saving the Rebels from overtime and earning them a 1-0 win.

Intense defense on both ends—along with an abundance of missed shots from both teams—put the game in a scoring deficit. With less than a minute left, overtime was imminent, but the Rebels refused to give up.

The Rebels received a free kick with 89:36 left on the clock, thanks to senior forward Amanda Galbraith and the Aggie she drew a foul out of.
