All jammed up in Las Vegas: The Fabulous Sin City Rollergirls

With names like SinDerHella, Despicable Mia and Yeti Page, it’s hard for the Sin City Rollergirls to go unnoticed wherever they go.

Starting off as the Las Vegas Neanderdolls in 2005, the group quickly grew in size and popularity. Soon after, their name changed to the Sin City Rollergirls (SCRG). As a Flat Track Derby team, they compete on exactly what that sounds like – a flat track.

Banked-wall roller derby was seen in the 2009 film Whip It, starring Ellen Page. The movie helped increase the popularity of roller derby, though the film did popularize a few misconceptions.
