Silas Wamangituka was VFB Stuttgart’s hero in Saturday’s 2-2 draw versus Borussia Monchengladbach.
The visitors came into the Bundesliga outing on the back of their 3-2 defeat of Bayern Munich at Borussia-Park. Against the Reds, however, they were only able to settle for a point.
Despite a cautious approach to the game, the hosts conceded a penalty in the 35th minute after Stefan Lainer was brought down by Borna Sosa. Lars Stindl stepped up to convert the resultant penalty to hand Gladbach the lead which they took into the half-time break.
