USMNT will play Costa Rica in a friendly to close out Nations League window

The United States Men’s National Team will finish their June Nations League action with a friendly match at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. Today, U.S. Soccer announced that the USMNT will take on Costa Rica on June 9. Kickoff time isn’t out yet, but the game will be broadcast on ESPN2, UniMás and TUDN.

Playing four games in a tight window of time is meant to help prepare players to what World Cup Qualifying windows will look like, beginning in September. The USMNT and Costa Rica are both in the final four of the Nations League, so it could be their second meeting in a very short amount of time.
